Welcome to Craigielea B&B in the beautiful Scottish Borders. Galashiels is one of the larger towns in the region, a picturesque one hour train journey to the centre of Scotland’s ancient capital, Edinburgh, and within minutes of fantastic walking, cycling, fishing and golf.
The region is diverse, from dramatic coastlines, rolling farmland, hills and rivers, to grand stately homes, ancient abbeys, glorious gardens and small towns with independent shopping and great places to eat. There are several good restaurants and pubs within a few minutes walk.
Craigielea, which dates from 1898, is a very late Victorian whinstone townhouse, surrounded by a colourful garden, with views over the town to the hills beyond.
We have 3 ensuite guest rooms, 1 double room and 2 twin rooms.
